Adding more colors to your student life at Waseda University
The dormitory or the international house is for those international students coming from overseas to study at Waseda University. We run the dormitory in co-operation with Waseda University to provide the safe and pleasant environment during your study at the University.
Waseda Hoshien International House is not only providing the accommodation facility but also the unique programs to enhance the communication between the Japanese students and the international students.
We think that it must be the students to change this dormitory to your true living space where you can contribute to each other and truly enjoy the student life at Waseda University. The stuffs are more than happy to help those students living at the dormitory to achieve it.
The operation service such as entering and leaving the dormitory is controlled by Waseda University Center for International Education (Nasic: National Student Information Center).

The shower room or the bath is designed for single use. |

This is the space for the students to watch TV or enjoy talking with other friends. The lounge at the building #3 can be used with non-Hoshien resident. |
Other Programs

RA Community Room The dormitory staff is available at the dormitory desk during the weekdays from 9:00 to 17:00 to assist you. The resident assistant is available at RA Community Room at evening time. The security guard patrols at the dormitory site during night. |

Health Consulting Room The doctor and the nurse are available 2 to 3 times in a week to give advice about your health concerns. If necessary, they will provide the hospital information. |
Student Activities
 |
Friday Night At the beginning of new school terms in Spring and Fall, we hold the welcome party for new students and the other residents of Waseda Hoshien. Especially in Fall, the Japanese night is held by You-Ai students of Waseda Hoshien. The You-Ai students introduce the Japanese culture to the international students. |

Study Tour It is very popular three days and two nights event of Waseda Hoshien. During this trip, the students have an opportunity to experience the Japanese culture and to communicate with local Japanese people. |

Home Visit It is a chance to experience the Japanese regular life with a host family living within Tokyo area. This is one-day event. As the special event, we go to the trip for digging sweat potato. |
 |
Christmas Party This is the most enjoyable event in the year. Some students contribute their special recipe to the Potluck Party and some present their special ability in singing or playing an instrument. |
Many of residents join to other student activity or volunteer group.
