"Asunaro-kai" was established in 1962 by university students.
The purpose of this group was to share the activities with physically or mentally disabled children.
Not only the students who are willing to become specialists in child's welfare but also those who are non-professionals work together facing the problems surrounding those disabled children.
The regular meeting is scheduled on every Saturday afternoon at two different locations;
Waseda and Jyu-Jyo. At this meeting, students organize the activities with children.
Besides this regular meeting, the students arrange the short-trip or the one-day trip in spring or in summer.
The over-night activity with those children, the baked-sweet potato fest, and the Christmas party are also planned.
A place is available for those who are interested in "Asunaro-kai" activity.
Join the group at any time of year regardless of your university grade.
