Waseda Hoshien organizes this guest house for international students, under-graduate and graduate studying at universities nearby


 

shift.jpg [In rooms] Bed, Beddings (a bed pad, a pillow, a blanket, and a futon), Refrigerator, Desk, Chair, Closet, Bookshelf, Desk Light, Air-conditioner and Curtain are equipped. shift.jpg [Lounge] This is the space for the residents to watch TV or enjoy talking. The lounge at the building #1 cannot be used with non-Hoshien resident. shift.jpg [Kitchen] Microwave, Rice Cooker, Toaster, Pot, Flying Pan, and some cooking utensils are equipped. shift.jpg [Common use] On the rooftop: a Laundromat (100 yen per one operation), a place for drying clothes and ironing are equipped. shift.jpg [Health Consulting Room] The doctor and the nurse are available to give advice about your health concerns. shift.jpg [RA Community Room] The dormitory staff is available at the dormitory desk during the weekdays to assist you. The resident assistant stays at RA Community Room and supports your student life. The security guard patrols at the dormitory site during night. shift.jpg [Friday Night] At the beginning of new school terms in Spring and Fall, we hold the welcome party for new students and the other residents of Waseda Hoshien. shift.jpg [Study Tour] It is very popular three days and two nights event of Waseda Hoshien. During this trip, the students have an opportunity to experience the Japanese culture and to communicate with local Japanese people. shift.jpg [Home Visit] It is a chance to experience the Japanese regular life with a host family living within Tokyo area. This is one-day event. As the special event, we go to the trip for digging sweat potato. shift.jpg [Christmas Party] This is the most enjoyable event in the year. Some students contribute their special recipe to the Potluck Party and some present their special ability in singing or playing an instrument.

Adding more colors to your student life

This dormitory is not only for residing in but also one of education. Through international exchange and various other programs on offer this dormitory is designed to inspire and promote the maturing of its residents.
Guest House residents are able to make use of the facilities of the international dormitory in Waseda Hoshien.

In rooms

All rooms at the dormitory are designed for individual use.
The second floor on a four-story ferroconcrete building.
The room # 201~207 facing to the south.
The rooms are in western style, 11㎡ wide.

Common Use

On the 2nd floor: a washstand (shared by 2 rooms), a lavatory, a dining/living (a cable TV is available)
On the 4th floor: a bathroom, a shower room, a kitchen
On the rooftop: a Laundromat (100 yen per one operation), a place for drying clothes and ironing

Other Information

*An indoor TV antenna and an Internet facility are available.
*The answering machine function and Fax mode may be used.
*No lift in the building.
*The entrance on the 1st floor is automatically locked.
*The 24-hour security camera is equipped at the entrance.
*The dormitory desk in Building No.5 will handle your mail and parcel. Cash on delivery in your absenceor perishables cannot be received at the desk.
